Back in May, I saw a flyer for the 2008 All Army Arts and Crafts Contest. It is a juried contest that is open to all MWR patrons (active duty, retired, reserve, civilian employees and their family members). I decided at the last minute to finish a piece that I was working on and enter it. Low and behold, I ended up winning 1st place in the 3-D mixed media category along with a $300 check.
